Rainbow Family Support Group
A free monthly support group for parents and family members of LGBTQIA+ children, teens, and young adults.
Rainbow Family Support Group provides a welcoming, supportive, and confidential space for family members and loved ones to come together, share experiences, and connect with others who understand.
We meet once a month on the 2nd Thursday at the Pride Center. Together, we create space to discuss and share our joys, fears, questions, challenges, and resources. Whether you are looking for support, guidance, connection, or simply a place to be heard, you are welcome.
Our goals are to:
- Support parents and family members as they navigate their experiences with their queer children, teens, and young adults.
- Address concerns, questions, and challenges
- Share helpful resources and information
- Build understanding, connection, and community
- Reduce stigma and create greater acceptance and support for LGBTQIA+ people and their families
All family members are welcome. No prior experience or knowledge is necessary, and you do not have to be at any particular place in your journey to participate.
